Description
Systems Integration & Development, an IT solutions provider located in Rockville, Maryland is
currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to develop applications in Delphi, Java and SQL based on requirements and design.
The successful candidate will have experience with the full Software Development lifecycle, Object Oriented Programming, and
experience working with relational databases. This is a full-time position located in Washington, D.C. Roles and responsibilities
include:
- Develop applications in Delphi and Java based on requirements and design.
- Provide maintenance
programming in Delphi and Java for existing systems.
- Participate in system integration and testing efforts.
- Use SQL to produce
reports in response to ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelors degree
is required; degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS is preferred.
- 7+ years professional working experience
with Object Oriented Programming is preferred.
- 3 5 years of experience developing with Delphi is required, experience
in a client server environment is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years professional working experience programming
in Java is preferred.
- Experience working with relational database management systems is required.
- Experience in SQL
and writing stored procedures is required.
- Experience with UNIX shell script programming is required.
- Experience working
in a client-facing environment is preferred.
